Who Can Participate?
Current students and recent alumni can represent their schools
Current Students
All currently enrolled students can represent their institution:
- Students from ANY institution type
- Universities, polytechnics, colleges, secondary schools
- Two leaderboards: secondary schools, and tertiary (uni / poly / college)
Recent Alumni
Graduated recently? You can still represent your alma mater:
- Graduated on or after January 1, 2021
- Any programme counts (SSCE, BSc, HND, MBA, PhD, etc.)
- Choose which school to represent
- Must provide proof if you win
Alumni Verification: If you're a recent graduate (on or after January 1, 2021) and you win a prize, you'll be required to provide evidence that you graduated from your chosen institution and programme within the permitted time window. This applies to all programmes — SSCE, undergraduate, HND, postgraduate, MBA, PhD, or any other qualification. Acceptable proof includes graduation certificates, transcripts, or official student ID cards with dates.

18 eligible countries this season (across Africa, Europe, and South Asia): Nigeria · Ghana · Sierra Leone · Liberia · Benin · Cameroon · Chad · Niger · Kenya · Uganda · Tanzania · Gambia · United Kingdom · Norway · India · Pakistan · Bangladesh · Philippines. Season 1 was limited to Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. If your school is registered in any of these 18, it can compete for Season 2 prizes.
Local-currency payouts: All winners are paid in their local currency at prevailing exchange rates. The NGN and USD figures above are reference denominations.
Note: Season 1 ran for 6 months (ending May 31, 2026). Many new users shared that the original timeline was too tight for them to have a fighting chance, and we also experienced delays with Android and iOS app store approvals taking longer than anticipated. Going forward, there will be 2 seasons per year. Each season will feature a 3–6 month active competition, and the remaining time will be a cooling-off period. The specific active competition window is communicated each season. Season 2's active competition runs from September 1 to December 31, 2026.
Kronerland AS reserves the right to modify the competition structure, rules, or prize distribution at any time to improve competition fairness and integrity. See full Terms & Conditions for complete legal details.
