Who Can Participate?

Current students and recent alumni can represent their schools

🎓

Current Students

All currently enrolled students can represent their institution:

  • Universities & polytechnics
  • All colleges (education, nursing, etc.)
  • Secondary schools
🎖️

Recent Alumni

Graduated recently? You can still represent your alma mater:

  • Graduated on or after January 1, 2021
  • Any programme counts (SSCE, BSc, HND, MBA, PhD, etc.)
  • Choose which school to represent
  • Must provide proof if you win

Alumni Verification: If you're a recent graduate (on or after January 1, 2021) and you win a prize, you'll be required to provide evidence that you graduated from your chosen institution and programme within the permitted time window. This applies to all programmes — SSCE, undergraduate, HND, postgraduate, MBA, PhD, or any other qualification. Acceptable proof includes graduation certificates, transcripts, or official student ID cards with dates.

Eligibility Gates — All Prizes

Stacking is allowed: qualifying for multiple prize categories does not cap your winnings.

Prize Referral points needed
Community Bonus Draw 20
Secondary School Competition 25
Main School Competition (uni / poly / pro) 50
Arena Global $200 (most users) 50
Arena Global $200 (Feb mid-season winners) 100 (doubled)
Top Community Referrer (top 7 ranked) 100
Campus/NYSC/NSS/NYS Ambassador end-of-season pool 200

Mid-Season Arena Winner Rule

The two mid-season Arena Global winners from February 2026 face a doubled threshold (100 referral points) for the end-of-season Arena Global prize only. They face the base thresholds for every other prize category. The doubled gate is there to give players who haven't won before a fairer shot — but it doesn't lock past winners out: any Feb winner willing to put in the extra community work to reach 100 points can win again. Stacking remains allowed.

Season 1 Countries: Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. Coming in Season 2: Kenya, Liberia, and Uganda!

Local-currency payouts: All winners are paid in their local currency at prevailing exchange rates. The NGN and USD figures above are reference denominations — Nigerian winners receive Naira, Ghanaian winners receive Cedis, Sierra Leonean winners receive Leones.

Note: Season 1 has been extended to 6 months (ending May 31, 2026). Many new users shared that the original timeline was too tight for them to have a fighting chance, and we also experienced delays with Android and iOS app store approvals taking longer than anticipated. Going forward, all seasons will run for 6 months: December to May, and June to November.
